If only you knew, how hard i try to make things work for us,
to let you know how bad i need you

If only you knew, how hard it gets when i gaze at the moon at night,
it reminds me of you

If only you knew, how bad my heart hurts when you're not in it,
how it calls your name

If only you knew how much i care for you, and what I’d do for you..
anything for you

If only you knew, i wonder if you would feel the same..
a little something maybe..

and I wonder, if I’ll be ignored again..

Sitting in the dark feeling sorry for myself again..
Mending pieces of my heart with my hands again..
Drying the river of tears flowing from my eyes again..
again and again..

All i need, is for you to hold me tight..
for you to whisper, words that will calm me down, comfort me
and make me feel that deeply inside,,

I’m mending the pieces right.. But in reality, my story never ends..
The hurt just carries on.. and dwells..

All i have is myself,, and with that.. i live on..
